You will never to too far from a drinking establishment in Hammersmith or Shepherds Bush. There are well over 70 good local bars ranging from sports/music bars like The Walkabout and Defectors Weld (Shepherds Bush Common) to your typical "local" such as Crown and Sceptre (Melina Road) and The Old Parrs Head and Bird In Hand on Masbro Road. Café culture in the locality is some what different and therefore pleasing, rather than the usual suspects of international chains we have a great selection of independently run cafes and coffee shops. Worthy of mention are The Cupboard Deli on Ormiston Grove, Betty Blythe on Blythe Road, Fait Maison on Goldhawk Road, Buchanan's on Aldensley Road. Of course there are the international chain such as Starbucks on Uxbridge Road and Hammersmith.
