The transformation of the Shepherd's Bush area continues with remarkable speed, contributing to the ever increasing popularity of this part of west London and the exciting buzz around it.
One of the many face changes taking place is a new scheme that we have great pride in promoting is Harrington Court. This new scheme is located at 112 Devonport Road, which is at the Uxbridge Road end of the road.
This is a development of seven fabulous new homes and has converted this rather neglected commercial corner of the road into bright new homes. The scheme offers a range of 2 and 3 bedrooms flats with bespoke finishes and all mod cons. The new residents will benefit from being within easy reach of prime rail and road links as well as the soon to be extended Westfield Shopping Centre and its myriad of offerings! As we go to print today, we have just agreed our first sale for this development so we're expecting these flats to sell quickly.
Harrington Court is not the only facelift worthy of note Shepherd's Bush, as there are further improvements taking place along Goldhawk Road, consisting of sparkly new homes that will enjoy extensive views overlooking Ravenscourt Park. The site was occupied by a a well known carpet retailer and the rather scruffy building is currently being replaced by a smart new block, enhancing the appeal and look of the area.
These new upgrades are just two current examples out of many local developments taking place that are changing and improving the face of Shepherd's Bush.
Kerr and Co would very much like to take this opportunity to add our hearty congratulations to two of its integral inhabitants, this is because...
Hammersmith and Fulham schools have achieved inner London's third best exam results and a special mention is due to Phoenix High School, who recorded the most improved GCSE results by showing the biggest year-on-year improvement of all the borough's schools, bumping its pass rate by 10% in 2014.*
Our local theatre, The Bush, triumphed in the annual "Offies" awards, where they scooped up no less than six gongs over a range of categories. The awards are organised by theatre website OffWestEnd.com and the famous Shepherds Bush venue took four top prizes for its productions - Most Promising Playwright, Best Female, Best Ensemble, and Best Sound Designer - and two for the venue itself with Best Theatre Bar and Best Foodie Experience.*
Very well done and applause to all!
