In Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith, we are fortunate to have several well-established cafés and  coffee shops which are very much part of our vibrant community and a welcoming sight - especially on a cold January day.  The delicious smells, buzzy atmosphere and cosy environment make a cheerful addition to any high street. They are a great place to meet friends, catch up on work or to grab a takeaway on your way to the station. Here we have listed a few of our favourites.

Askew Village

Home to delicious craft bakes, speciality coffee and the iconic cinnamon bun, we’re pleased to welcome Gail’s Bakery to Askew Road this January . Whether you want a quick pre-work coffee or an afternoon cake run for the office, Gail’s is a fantastic addition to Askew Village and Shepherds Bush

Detour Café
Well established cafe specialising in locally sourced gorgeous coffee & teas, serving great brunches, sandwiches & fresh salads as well as delicious cakes and pastries . Our vote for a homely café in the middle of Askew Road a must if your meeting friends.

Goldhawk Road Hammersmith Grove 

The Electric Coffee Company 
With over 20 types of coffee on offer and as many years in the business - not even the fussiest coffee drinker could not be satisfied in this amazing cafe . The café is welcoming and homely with a choice of fantastic coffees, specialist teas, cakes, pastries and light bites - Electric Coffee is definitely one of our favourites 

Cafe Bonego 
Delightful Café by day and cosy Bar & Restaurant at night, open from 7am to 10pm.  Italian Torelli coffee served all day. A great venue to meet for lunch or for a tasty early dinner before a night at Shepherds Bush Empire – located minutes from Goldhawk tube station and Shepherds Bush Green.

Bertotti Hammersmith Gelato & Coffee 
Bertotti is a family run business located on Hammersmith Grove W6 and Goldhawk Road W12 - an established, friendly neighbourhood café.  Here you will find a selection of Artisanal Ice Cream and a variety of panini and cakes, not to mention freshly grounded coffee along with smoothies and milkshakes.

Brackenbury Village

In the heart of Brackenbury Village - situated just round the corner from Brackenbury School and Ravenscourt Park, this is a perfect spot to read the morning newspaper or to catch up with a friend after the school run.The cafe's has a fantastic coffee and a great selection pastries and cakes - including vegan and vegetarian - what more can you ask for ?

The Italian Coffee Club 
Located just inside Shepherds Bush Market, opposite the tube is the wonderful Italian Coffee Club. A large choice of coffee pastries and cakes - with a passionate owner you can tell this coffee is made with love and you can taste it. Order a take away whilst you browse around Shepherds Bush Market .
