Queen Camillia Tours 'Fantastic' Kindred Studios in Shepherds Bush Market

The Queen visited Kindred Studios in Shepherds Bush market this week after Laura Lopes her daughter told her about the amazing studios following an open day she had attended.

Queen Camilla visited Kindred Studios which is home to a number of artists including a collective of painters, ceramicists, textiles and fashion designers on Valentines Day this week.  Goldhawk Road was a flurry of excitement as shoppers, were delighted seeing her arrive.  The Studios is located at the back of Shepherds Bush market just across the road from our office and opposite Goldhawk Road tube station .  The Studios is well known locally, and has been a huge support to artists and exhibitors to display their work and enabling them to hold workshops for the local community in West London .  The studios were previously used as accommodation by a homeless charity, but now serves the local community to offer an educational program to inspire the next generation of young artists who maynot  have the facilities to work from or support networks.  Kindred Studios hold a number of requent events designed to encourage creativity in is neighbourhood and has been recognised as a place for local artists to come together to exhibit and show their work.

Queen Camilla described the studies fantastic and marvelled at the installations, including taxidermy mice, intricate embroidered textiles, and a sweet painting of her step-granddaughter Princess Charlotte which the Queen particularly enjoyed seeing.  Leaving studios she congratulated everyone on their talents and said she would love to come back again . Welldone to Kindred Studios on all your efforts its fantastic to see your hard work recognised.
