Oxford V Cambridge Boat Race 2025
Oxford and Cambridge University in 1829 is now one of the world’s oldest and most famous amateur sporting events which takes place in London. This famous sporting event spans nearly 200 years of rivalry between two of the most established Universities, Oxford and Cambridge and as has become synonymous with British tradition and sporting rivalry. The Boat race has gained much momentum as the athletes are not professional, but their dedication to the sport, combine academic rigour with elite physical talent. There is no greater occasion on London's Riverside.The Boat Race is regularly attended by over 200,000 spectators at the banks of the river and watched by millions more on television and takes place on the famous Championship Course that stretches over 4.25 miles of tidal Thames in West London between Putney and Mortlake. There are a number of viewpoints and excellent pubs which line the stretch of the Riverside which you can enjoy the Race as it happens.
The 2025 Boat Race will take place on Sunday 13 April 2025 and is televised live on the BBC.

His days are punctuated by his fleeting encounters with equally shy, wide-eyed colleague, Daisy. Thomas’ quest for love must contend with a boisterous boss named Simon, his own excruciating insecurities, and a rather bothersome briefcase that drags him through an extraordinary series of events.
