I grew up in Ealing and started my career as an estate agent straight after leaving school at 18. I joined various corporate agents in Hammersmith and Chiswick and moved to Shepherds Bush . I became the Branch Manager at the Prudential on the Askew Road in 1987 which was very different to Askew Village today !
I set up my own Company in 1993 at number 75 Goldhawk Road , it was tough finding my feet during a recession, but I knew the area well and saw the gap in the market to give a personal, bespoke and consistent service which many of my clients needed especially in times of uncertainty and change.
My brother Sean Kerr joined to set up the Lettings Department in 2000 and in 2016 we moved offices to larger more modern premises at 77 Goldhawk Road to accommodate our growing Sales, Lettings and Property Management Departments.
Since those early days I am proud to lead Kerr and Co with my dedicated, qualified, and experienced staff whose knowledge and expertise are unrivalled in this diverse and evolving part of West London.
Today my responsibilities now are for business development , maintaining excellent client relationships, quality control and day to day management of our offices. 40 years on - I still in enjoy my job as much as I did as a young enthusiastic 18 year old on the Askew Road.
Outside work I have an interest in cricket, Kerr and Co are proud to be a main Club Sponsors of Shepherds Bush Cricket Club. My wife and I support various other community projects and enjoy supporting local schools, clubs and charities with their projects where we can.
My weekends are spent with our grown-up family when we can all get together . I enjoy all sports; however, rugby is my passion and look forward to getting to Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club as a season ticket holder or the OPRFC with my family to watch local games. I'm also a keen cyclist and love attending to my allotment which brings me much pleasure.
